Semantic designer, visual artist and composer Mildred Simantov makes poetic text-objects that explore radical emotion. She has designed objects distributed from Japan to the United States since 1998. In 2007, she presented the Sanzo Kuhnam Publishing House at the Palais de Tokyo in Paris. Working in collaboration with the Franco Swedish artist Nils Thornander, she created the Réfectoire* Installation for the Carnavalet Museum in 2010. Artworks resulting from the installation appeared and were sold at the New Museum in New York. After composing the music for the Audio Guides of the Museum of Modern Art in Paris, the duo Simantov-Thornander performed in concert at the Palais de Tokyo under the name Adult Age. Author of the neologism (è)e, published in 2013, she created the Girls Have Periods Collection for the Gallery of the Paris Opera. Since 2022, Mildred Simantov contributes as an author to the contemporary Revue Profane. Tout est fugitif, "Everything is Fleeting" a fiction on urbanism, will appear in early 2023, Bookstorming. She lives between Paris and an island. Mildred dies but just not today. Click here if you want to reach her.
